As you get to the end of town, you will see the Super 8 on your right (heading south) and then immediately after the motel, you willl see a road ALSO on your right that heads up to the ski area. It is marked, but not especially clearly. TAKE THIS ROAD! (You will see some reassuring signs along the way, but don't count on them for guidance!) Follow the road all the way until it takes a sharp right (veering northwest) and starts heading up the mountain. Immediately BEFORE it does this, there is a road that continues more or less straight (or could be perceived as slightly to the left) that branches off from the ski road. TAKE THIS ROAD! Follow the road about 3 miles(?) to a place where there is a fork (you will see a sign that says "Girl Scout Camp" about ten feet before your turn) - the tine of the fork you are interested in is a DIRT road, hardly visible just to the right of the paved road. TAKE THE DIRT ROAD!! You will follow the dirt road into camp. Its only about 300 yards so once you are on it you shouldnt have any trouble! Do these directions seem like gobbledygook to you? Click HERE for a map!! ________________________________________________ |
